During the construction phase, all the woodwork required for the construction of the school building is to be carried out in the wood workshop. Wood-working machines were donated by a carpenter abandoned on grounds of age on the island Juist and transported by means of a container transport to Uganda. After the workshop building was completed in the first half of 2016, the installation and commissioning of the machines is scheduled for November / December 2016. In addition, the electrical wiring begun in March 2016 must be completed.

After completion of the school building, the wood workshop should serve as a training workshop and continue to use the need for woodworking the school (construction and repair of furniture such as, cabinets, tables, chairs, beds, but also of window frames and doors, etc.).
